Experienced iOS developers
If you thrive on working in an energetic environment where your developer skills are highly valued and are frequently pushed to the boundaries of the possible, we'd like to hear from you. You will, of course, already have all the Essential skills detailed below. If you can tick a few boxes on the Desirable list, so much the better.
Essential:
- good honours degree in computer science or related discipline
- at least 2 years' development experience on iOS
- have released at least one substantive app, largely your own work, to the App Store
- understand memory & resource management on iOS
- know your way around Xcode
- experience with full app life-cycle
- demonstrable attention to detail and commitment to quality
- self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
- excellent communications skills
Desirable:
- OS X development experience
- Cocos2D experience
- OpenGL ES experience
- database skills: SQLite
- Android development experience
- video or graphics processing
- JavaScript and web skills: CSS and HTML5
- familiarity with source control and build systems
- design skills e.g. with Photoshop
- interest in natural history or science
Junior iOS developers
If you're eager to learn and develop your iOS development skills within a talented team, and working on some great apps, we'd like to hear from you. You will, of course, already have all the Essential skills detailed below. If you can tick a few boxes on the Desirable list, so much the better.
Essential:
- good honours degree in computer science or related discipline
- Objective-C, C++
- at least 6 months' development experience on iOS (iPhone or iPad)
- know your way around Xcode
- demonstrable attention to detail and commitment to quality
- self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
- good communications skills
Desirable:
- have released at least one app, largely your own work, to the App Store
- OS X development experience
- Cocos2D experience
- database skills: SQLite
- JavaScript and web skills: CSS and HTML5
- design skills e.g. with Photoshop
- interest in natural history or science
